Baljit Singh Daduwal appointed as the president of HSGPC, Beats Jasbir Singh Khalsa by 2 votes

Baljeet Singh Daduwal has appointed as the president of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee. He has won the  election by beating Jasvir Singh Khalsa by two votes. Baljit Singh got 19 out of 36 votes, while Jasvir Khalsa got 17 votes.

Five candidates had filed nomination papers for the post of President of HSGPC, which included Baljit Singh Daduwal of Sirsa, Jasbir Singh Khalsa of Dosarka in Ambala, Harpreet Singh Narula of Karnal, Jasbir Singh Bhatti of Dabwali and Swarn Singh Ratia of Fatehabad. Harpreet Singh Narula and Jasbir Singh Bhatti has withdrew their nominations from the elections, after which three candidates were left in the fray, out of which the third candidate Swaran Singh Ratia openly supported Baljeet Singh Daduwal of Sirsa.
