Bengaluru: Elon Musk, a veteran businessman and second richest man in the world, is going to start his business in India. In fact, Elon Musk's electric car maker company Tesla has made an entry in India. The company has registered under the name Tesla India Motors and Energy Private Limited. Tesla has registered its first office in Bengaluru.
According to reports, the company has been registered as an unlisted private institution with a capital of Rs 1 lakh. Tesla will manufacture and trade luxury electric cars here. Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has also welcomed Tesla. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that Karnataka will lead India's journey towards green mobility. I welcome Elon Musk to India.
