IPL 2020 UAE: Here are the Necessary Security protocols for the franchises and players to follow

The BCCI have prepared 240 page long Standard Operating Procedure for IPL2020 in UAE as they do not want to take any chance regarding the safety of the players amid the coronavirus pandemic.
 
IPL chairman, Brijesh Patel has confirmed that Indian Premier League 2020 will be held across all 3 venues in the United Arab Emirates - Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah from September 19 to November 8, subject to the approval of the Indian government.
 
According to sources, the SOP has illustrations and diagrams of where players will stand at the opening as to ensure social distancing. The SOP also includes the other security protocols or code of conduct which the franchises and the players will follow.
 
HERE ARE SOME NECESSARY SECURITY PROTOCOLS:
 
- Social distancing rules will be implemented and need to be followed on and off the field.

- There is no need to be in quarantine if people are carrying a negative Covid-19 test report, but if they are not, they will have to undergo a test.
 
- Players will have to undergo four rounds of coronavirus testing. two in India before departure and twice during the quarantine period in UAE. Testing will be a must for all passengers arriving in UAE and the same will apply for players and staff.
 
- According to the report, Each franchise will have to create its own social bubble in which the team will only be interacting with the limited number of people.
 
-Every player who visits UAE for IPL 2020 must install the DXB App on their smartphone which is UAE's equivalent of India's Aarogya Setu app.
 
- According to a report, all franchises will have to figure their own travel arrangements and accommodation in UAE. BCCI will coordinate with UAE authorities to ensure discounted hotel rates and share it with the franchises.
 
- A maximum of 15 players to be permitted inside the team dressing room with thier.
