Punjab CM expresses grief over murder of a 6-year-old girl from Tanda, Directed DGP to ensure proper investigation

Tanda: Punjab Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh has expressed grief over the Rape and murder of a 6-year-old girl in Tanda's village Jalalpur. 

He said that It is a Extremely sad and shocking incident of rape & murder of 6 year old in Hoshiarpur. Police have arrested the accused and the DGP has been instructed to ensure proper investigation.
According to the Police, A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped, killed and then burnt alive at a village in Punjab's Tanda on Thursday. Surpreet Singh and his grandfather Surjit Singh, both residents of Punjab's Jalalpur village, have been arrested on charges of rape, murder and causing disappearance of evidence after the girl's half-burnt body was found near their cattle shed on Wednesday, Police said.
