Punjab CM seeks time to meet PM Modi and Home Minister

CHANDIGARH: Farmers' protests are continuing in Punjab over centre's farm laws. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has sought a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for discussion on the issue of restoration of trains in Punjab State.

According to the sources, CM Captain can meet him before the farmers protests which are going to take place on November 26-27. CM has also appealed the central government to cooperate with the state govt to create a conducive environment to end the long struggle of farmers.
