Punjab Congress Spokesperson Rana Baljeet Chahal Writes to Governor, Says “Insane Decision of Conducting JEE and NEET amid Pandemic Can Weaken Our Battle against It”

Rana Baljeet Singh Chahal wrote a letter to governor of Punjab demanding Postponement of JEE and NEET.

In the letter, the congress spokes person alleged that the Modi Government’s decision about conducting exams is obstinate because former INC president Rahul Gandhi proposed delay in these exams keeping in view the fatality of Coronavirus.

Chahal further questioned, “MPs and MLAs are being tested for Corona before the session of Parliament or Vidhan Sabha. Does the government have arrangements to carry out tests for such a huge number of aspirants who seek to appear in the exams?"

“The Indian government's impulse to justify its wrong decision is a threat to the health of society as a whole and a step to weaken the country's fight against corona.
Therefore, in view of the above facts, we request the Government of India through you to give up its stubbornness and when the situation improves a little, JEE and Neat exams should be taken. The government should not compromise on the health of millions of students and their families” said Rana Baljeet Chahal in letter to Governor.
